The 20th Century Fox has been rebranded as 20th Television dropping both ‘Century’ and ‘Fox’. In January Disney had dropped ‘Fox’ from the name and later in this month dropping the name ‘Century’.

Entertainment giant, Disney had acquired many assets from Fox in year 2019 at the price of $71 Billion. After acquisition the name was changed from 20th Century Fox to 20th Century.

The new logo retains old theme and searchlight just, ‘Century’ and ‘Fox’ has been removed from it. New logo has words 20th Television and it will be shown on new episodes of TV series starting this fall. Shows and episodes which have aired before the rebranding will hold the legacy 20th Century Fox logo and name.

Disney’s decision to remove the ‘Century’ and ‘Fox’ is to avoid confusion amongst its customers in distinguishing between their assets and assets still possessed by Fox. At present, Fox owns Fox Entertainment, Fox Sports and Fox News and these have nothing to do with Disney.

Not only Fox, Disney is also rebranding its other TV studios with new logos and names. Disney has already changed names of ABC Studios and ABC Signature Studios to ABC Signature. The entertainment company is also going to change Fox 21 Television Studios to Touchstone Television.

In one of the statements, Disney television studio president Craig Hunegs said: “Our new studio names and logos mark a new day for ABC Signature, 20th Television and Touchstone Television while honoring their rich histories and the creative power of The Walt Disney Company.”

20th Century Fox Television was formed by merger of 20th Century Pictures and Fox Films in year 1935. It became prominent name since 1949 and has produced evergreen shows like ‘The Simpsons’, M*A*S*H, Modern Family and original Batman series.

During the raid it was seen that the officials seized various fire arms from the YouTube stars’ mansion. 

YouTuber Jake Paul is already facing charges of looting Arizona Shopping Centre in May of this year during George Floyd protests. Officials have said that the raid at California mansion is part of the investigation relating to his looting during protests. 

There is no arrest warrant issued against Paul, the officials said. Along with Paul, night club promoter Arman Izadi and Andrew Leon’s home were also searched by the FBI.

As per FBI’s Phoenix office they are “investigating allegations of criminal acts surrounding the incident at Scottsdale Fashion Square in May”, spokeswoman from the office said.

Richard Schnofeld, lawyer representing Jake Paul admitted that the California mansion was searched and he has pledged to oblige with the investigation.

For FBI to continue its investigation, misdemeanor charges filed against Jake Paul, Arman Izadi and Andrew Leon for criminal trespassing and unlawfully assembling with rioters at Fashion Square were dismissed. 

According to police, Paul was part of the protest and present even after the protest was declared unlawful.

He was accused of trespassing and remaining inside the shop even after it was closed.
